my coat pocket hides your hand
keeps you from shivering
it's much less risky to stay inside
but we'll tread the snow side by side
and as we walk sometimes we slide
on thin ice and skin our hides
we may break our backs but we'll be fine
with blankets and bandages, wrapped up tight
i'll keep you warm as possible
the power's out, the trees are down
safe refuge cannot be found
we may have bit more than we chew
thinking the storm would let us through
we have to try and make it home
or build an igloo and sleep till dawn
ever since the dawn of time
build a shelter, stay inside
it's a fool that remains and dies
nestled in a sea of white
winter's coming, got to face it
don't know which direction we're facing
feet are cold, need a blanket
got a feeling, but don't know how to place it
days like this make you question the reason
you live so far north of the equator
but even still i can't help but love this
'cause in winter snow covers all the bull shit.

Poetic and ethereal folk songs paired with a handful of clever pop tracks - all sung beautifully. I am constantly impressed by Young Legs. Hides A Well
